AWS Amplify Studio Helps Companies Accelerate App Development
Amazon Web Services, Inc. (AWS), an Amazon.com, Inc. company (NASDAQ: AMZN), announced last week at the AWS Summit in San Francisco the general availability of AWS Amplify Studio.
What is AWS Amplify Studio?
AWS Amplify studio helps developers create fully customizable web and mobile applications user interfaces (UIs) on AWS with minimal coding and in as little as a few hours. Typically, companies like Neiman Marcus and Amazon Music rely on developers to produce thousands of lines of code from scratch in order to fully customize their web application designs. Or, a lower-cost alternative is to use a low-code tool that is simple to use but not highly customizable. Both of those options have been costly, inefficient, or both.
With AWS Amplify Studio, developers can use a library of pre-built components (e.g., buttons, newsfeeds, user registration forms, etc.), interact with user experience (UX) designers, and quickly build and connect their UI on AWS without having to write code. This saves time and resources allowing developers to quickly execute projects for clients.
Another example of a company that uses AWS Amplify is Cloud Brigade. Cloud Brigade is a Santa Cruz-based IT company specializing in providing business and technical services to solve complex business challenges for its clients.
“Our team is focused on designing and developing innovative, custom web applications that help our clients operate efficiently and effectively. We use AWS Amplify because it allows us to take advantage of the breadth and depth of AWS to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions…We are always looking for tools that can help accelerate our development velocity, while still giving us the control we need to meet our clients’ exacting standards. AWS Amplify Studio looks like it will deliver the perfect balance of speed and precision by allowing us to quickly create client applications using a visual interface and then dive into the code to fully customize the experience to meet our clients’ needs,” - Chris Miller, Chief Executive Officer at Cloud Brigade.
