Girls In Engineering Program Seeking Additional Participants

Girls in Engineering (GIE) Program, which is based jointly out of Baskin Engineering (BE) and the Educational Partnership Center (EPC) at UC Santa Cruz is offering three one-week sessions of engineering-focused day camp for middle school female and female-identified students AT NO COST. The program will start its first week of camp on July 8, and currently, there is ample space left in all three weeks of the program. If you know of any students who may be interested in participating, please share!

About the Program

Designed to spark a lifelong passion and familiarity with technology, this free, fun 5-day camp enables students in the 7th and 8th grade (at the time of application) to create their very own robots, imagine themselves as computer scientists and engineers, and explore the careers and educational opportunities available to them in the science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) fields. Girls in Engineering is a girl-focused learning environment.
