Local Business Adapted Quickly During Covid-19
Agus and her husband Wiki are two creatives that moved to Santa Cruz last year. Like many people in the neighborhood, they moved here because of the waves and the beauty of the mountains.
Originally from Argentina, they have been living in and around the San Francisco Bay Area since 2012. Agus, a sharp-eyed photographer, can typically be found photographing on location, while Wiki, an experienced web designer, has been busy working for tech companies such as Airbnb.
After an exciting time photographing hotels in Bali, they were ready to come back and start the summer season in California. But the world changed dramatically and most of their projects were canceled due to Covid-19.
“It took us a few weeks to decide what to do and where to put our focus. It wasn’t easy. We talked to a lot of people and realized it made sense for us to offer what many local businesses need right now, a stronger online presence, a simple eCommerce buildout on Shopify or Square, and an improved visual strategy” says Agus.
To support local businesses, they are offering creative solutions while social distancing. Their services include Web Design, E-Commerce buildout, Product Photography, Social Media, and Content Curation.
