Efficient maintenance operations will play a key role in bringing Joby’s commercial service to life. They received of Part 145 Maintenance Certificate in early 2024, and are building an MRO system that will allow service the aircraft with the high quality and safety standards Joby embraces. With Part 145, Joby is now able to train and certify maintenance repairmen who work on their aircraft in the field. Joby is developing these training programs in-house and is proud to have received a $1M grant from the FAA to support development.
