(July 30, 2021) -Marina, CA-Monterey Bay Economic Partnership (MBEP) announced today a CEO search to replace Kate Roberts, its current CEO, who informed the board she will be retiring effective December 31, 2021. The MBEP Board of Directors will conduct a search process to select and appoint Ms. Roberts’ successor by that date.

“Kate Roberts has led MBEP from its infancy, transforming it from the founders’ vision to the successful organization it is today,” said Eduardo Ochoa, MBEP Board Chair. “We are proud to have made such a positive impact in the region under her tenure, and look forward to continuing our work in making the Monterey Bay region a prosperous and desirable place to live and work.”

Monterey Bay Economic Partnership (MBEP) envisions a thriving region with quality jobs, excellent education and health care, while preserving the natural beauty of our environment.
