We are thrilled to announce the launch of the 5th cohort of our accelerator: Santa Cruz Accelerates! It is designed to help startups take their business to the next level. This program is specifically tailored to provide entrepreneurs with the resources, mentorship, and funding needed to grow their companies at an accelerated pace. If you have a startup seeking seed funding, this will be a game-changer. We will help you achieve the goals and succeed in the highly competitive world of entrepreneurship. We cannot wait to see the incredible innovations and breakthroughs that will come out of this program, and we encourage all startups to apply and join us on this exciting journey.
We Are!
The Santa Cruz Accelerates program offers a 6-week self-paced course, local mentors, and resources worth over $1 million to help founders grow their startups. This cohort will have a special focus on startups in the climate technology sector and those with solutions and products that promote positive change in the world. The program has previously supported a diverse range of startups: Cruz Foam, Jane Technologies, Scoot Science, Fonda Technologies, Immergo Labs, and more. Seven startups with liquidity events, contributing more than $1B of market value to our community.
Successful entrepreneurs will have access to a network of over 50 mentors and VCs, with no dilution, and will be eligible to compete in the Santa Cruz Accelerates Pitch Competition on August 2nd. The application deadline is April 30, 2023. Entrepreneurs who successfully complete the courses and program will have strengthened their industry knowledge, made connections, and will be eligible to complete in the Santa Cruz Accelerates Pitch Competition on August 2nd.
