TIBCO IoT and Sustainability Hackathon Aims to Tackle Environmental Challenges
TIBCO, a leading computer software company with a focus on enterprise integration and analytics software, and creator of the TIBCO LABS™ are hosting a IoT and sustainability hackathon to propose projects that address one or more environmental challenges. They are looking for smart, creative hackers to use Project AIR come up with solutions that tackle at least one of five sustainability categories: energy, water, pollution, transportation, and food production.
This is a two-phase hackathon.
- Ideation Phase (November 15, 2021–January 14, 2022)
Submit by January 14, 2022, and receive a score of 70 points or higher to move on to the Development Phase.
- Development Phase (January 20, 2022–January 29, 2022)
Start hacking and solve one or more tough environmental challenges!
Winners will be announced February 7, 2022.
First place prize winners will receive $10,000, second place will receive $5,000, and the third place winner will receive $2,500. There is also a chance to win a $1,000 most creative submission or CTO award. Hackers can participate from anywhere and register as an individual or up to a team of 5.
