Clicks2Bricks Offering $5k Grant and $50k Loans for Qualifying Businesses

Through a generous sponsorship from Santa Cruz Credit Union and Cal OSBA, the Santa Cruz Small Business Development Center is excited to launch its 2nd cohort of Clicks 2 Bricks and needs help getting the word out. The first cohort helped entrepreneurs convert their business model into an e-commerce store. This time, Santa Cruz SBDC is adding a $5k grant and $50k loan to any business that qualifies as well as partnering with UCSC Get Virtual to provide additional assistance. What
The Santa Cruz Small Business Development Center is launching Clicks2Bricks. C2B is an exclusive, free e-commerce incubator that will assist aspiring entrepreneurs and current business owners in starting, growing, and maintaining a best-practice, modern e-commerce website, and associated business strategy.
Where
Clicks2Bricks is offered online with the possibility to meet in person at Cabrillo College. Interested businesses can apply by filling out a short form found at clicks2bricks.org.
When
We are starting our 2nd cohort on July 13th, 2022, Wednesdays from 5:30 to 7:00 pm for 12 weeks. Applications are due by end of June but early applicants will be given priority.

Grant and Loan Eligibility
Businesses that started after July 1st, 2019 are eligible for a $5,000 grant if they complete the Clicks 2 Bricks program and a business plan. All businesses that complete the Clicks2Bricks program are eligible for up to $50,000 in loan funds through Santa Cruz Community Credit Union.
