From its humble beginnings in the heart of Santa Cruz, CA, Goodles, the innovative and brightly colored mac and cheese brand, has experienced a meteoric rise, cementing its place as a powerhouse in the packaged food industry. Goodles differentiates itself from traditional mac and cheese brands by incorporating 14g of protein and 21 nutrients derived from vegetables, making it a healthier option without sacrificing taste. This focus on both flavor and nutrition has resonated with consumers, driving the brand's rapid growth since the brand was first formed in 2020. The brand raised $13M in a 2023 Series A funding round, and have been skyrocketing ever since.
The company's success has not gone unnoticed. According to Inc. Magazine, Goodles “saw triple-digit growth in 2024, a year in which it sold a box every second and pulled in $70 million in cash register sales”. Mind blowing, or should we say, Mac blowing! Recently, CEO Jen Zeszut was named on the prestigious Inc. Magazine 2025 Female Founders 500 list, recognizing her leadership and highlighting her innovative approach to building a successful business. Check out the article by Inc.
