The Cyborg Project
The Cyborg Project is an immersive and interactive virtual and in-person collection of performances and installations that combine new technology and dance exploring the pressing technological transformation of our era.
Here's how you can come:
Virtually:
Our virtual show is not like other live-streamed 2-D performances. We have built an interactive 3-D virtual city in which you will move your avatar through 30 curated rooms to experience our art. There is no download required and our show can be accessed on all mobile and computer devices. After purchasing your ticket you can expect a link to our virtual show in your inbox on September 20th, you will have an infinite amount of time to watch the show. Tickets for the virtual show will be available until October 1st.
Live:
Our live show, on September 17th, 18th, and 19th at 7:30 pm will be hosted at The 418 Project in Santa Cruz, Ca. Each show will have a limited capacity of 25 people and all county CDC mandates will be followed. Expect an intimate experience of our upstairs installations, premiere films on a movie theatre screen, and live dance. Your live ticket also includes the virtual experience. Tickets must be purchased online, no tickets at door. These shows will sell out.
We hope you can join us and support art in these challenging times. It is truly a miracle we have been able to put on this show and we can't wait to share it with you.
