Is Your Company Compliant with California's New Harassment Avoidance Training Law?

This event is hosted by CMTC

California State Bill (SB) 1343 mandates that all employers with five or more employees must provide Harassment Avoidance Training — two hours for supervisory staff and one hour for non-supervisory staff — to fulfill all California requirements. All employees must be trained within six months of being hired and every two years thereafter. The deadline for all employees, including new hires and newly promoted supervisors, to complete the training is December 31, 2020. 

To help ensure all California manufacturers are compliant with these new rules, CMTC offers web-based "live" sessions that are facilitated by a Harassment Avoidance trainer. These sessions are specifically designed for small and medium-sized manufacturers, and are conducted within two-hour time slots. • First Hour: Combines both Supervisory & Non-Supervisory staff

• 5 Minute Break: Non-Supervisory staff is released & Supervisors return

• Second Hour: Focuses on Supervisory/Management staff only

• Confirmation: Each participant receives a Certificate of Completion

• Languages: English and Spanish available and conducted separately
