Santa Cruz Works Suspends In-Person Events

SCW Newsletter-17.png

This post is to inform our members, partners, sponsors and community that all in-person Santa Cruz Works events have been suspended until further notice. We take very seriously the health and well-being of our community. At this juncture, in-person events are not a risk we should take nor our community.

The County of Santa Cruz Health Services Agency released a memo on March 9th stating:

Workplace and Businesses: MinimizeExposure

• Reduce nonessential, work-related employee travel.

• Minimize the number of employees working within arm’s length of one another, including minimizing or canceling large in-person meetings and conferences of about 50 or more.

• Urge employees to stay home when they are sick and maximize flexibility in sick leave or other leave benefits.

With this in mind we will offer virtual alternatives to our subscribers. Stay tuned for further details.
