Help Wanted for Blue Innovation Day 2024

Calling all ocean enthusiasts and community champions! Blue Innovation Day 2024 is seeking passionate volunteers to help make this year's event a resounding success. Join us on Sunday, October 6th at the Seymour Marine Discovery Center for a day dedicated to protecting our precious oceans and water sources.

Blue Innovation Day brings together researchers, organizations, and the public to explore innovative solutions for ocean and water sustainability. The event features interactive exhibits, inspiring workshops, engaging activities, and much more. We are looking for a variety of volunteers to assist and make this event a success.

Be a Part of the Solution: Volunteer with Us!

We need your help to ensure a smooth and unforgettable experience for all attendees. Volunteer opportunities are available throughout the day, from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. You will have the opportunity to choose a shift that works for you!

Here are some ways you can contribute:

  • Set-up and breakdown: Assist with preparing and dismantling the event infrastructure.

  • Greeter and Info Desk Helper: Welcome attendees, answer questions, and direct them to exhibits

  • Exhibitor support: Assist participating organizations and researchers in setup/tear down

  • Bike Valet: Help monitor bicycles
