Wonderfil, a Santa Cruz based startup revolutionizing sustainable refill solutions, recently announced a series of significant achievements in its Q1 update, marking a period of substantial growth and expansion.

Growth at Whole Foods Market

Sales through the Wonderfil Refill Stations at Whole Foods Market experienced a remarkable growth this quarter, fueled by a viral social media post that became Whole Foods’ most viewed, liked, and commented post. CEO of Dr. Bronner's flew up from Vista, CA to use the refill stations.

New Office Location

Wonderfil has relocated to a larger, 100% solar-powered office in Santa Cruz’s historic Old Wrigley Building, joining a community of innovative companies. To celebrate, the company is hosting an office warming party on April 25th. RSVP here if you wish to attend.

Wonderfil CEO and Founder Amelia Eichel also shared with us that the startup has received an investment from Santa Cruz Ventures. “We’re excited to share that we’ve invested in Wonderfil. They're poised to redefine how consumer liquid products are delivered and consumed—with zero waste at scale. Every year, over 1 trillion plastic bottles end up in landfills or waterways. While consumer and regulatory demand for sustainable packaging has never been higher, current refill solutions are clunky, inconvenient, and far from scalable. We believe Wonderfil has a real shot at becoming the dominant platform for zero-waste liquid distribution—in the same way Nespresso redefined coffee and SodaStream reimagined sparkling water. The founders Amelia and Shiloh have shown incredible grit and creativity and their strong, early traction shows that off.  Very proud to support them!" stated Alexi Sevastopoulos from Santa Cruz Ventures.“We’re thrilled to have Santa Cruz Ventures invest in Wonderfil!  As a startup rooted in Santa Cruz, it’s incredibly meaningful to have the support of local investors who share our vision for a sustainable future," states Eichel. Congrats to the team!
