The City of Santa Cruz invites the community to provide feedback on the Draft Community-wide Climate Action Plan 2030! Developed through diverse community outreach over the past year, the CAP 2030 focuses not just on emissions reductions but also on improving health, equity, and job outcomes in our community.
Each resident has a role to play in implementing this plan which also contains funding and near-term implementation plan with accountability mechanisms.
There are several ways to provide feedback: (1) visit the virtual CAP 2030 and provide comments on the website or (2) via email or (3) take a look at hard copies located at Garfield and Main Libraries or the London Nelson Center and leave written comments on the cards provided. The Executive Summary is also available in Spanish. The City appreciates the community’s input and is excited to present the ambitious CAP 2030 for adoption by City Council later in the summer.
