Climatize Selected as Top 10 Finalist for Young Global Changers Recoupling Awards

Just a few weeks ago, we announced that Santa Cruz Accelerates members, Will Wiseman and Alba Forns, creators of Climatize, were selected as semi-finalists for the Young Global Changers Recoupling Awards 2022 hosted by Global Solutions Initiative. On February 16th, it was annouced that out of the fifty semi-finalists, Climatize was chosen as part of the top 10 finalists for the 2022 YGC Recoupling Awards.

Chief Strategy Officer and Co-Founder of Climatize, Alba Forns, will be representing Climatize in Berlin, Germany on March 28th-29th. Forns will present at the Global Solutions Summit as a stepping stone for crafting policy at the G20 & G7.

The top 10 who are selected for the 2022 YGC Recoupling awards will receive scholarships to participate in the Global Solutions Summit 2022, present their project in front of a jury and international audience, and have networking opportunities.

From there, a jury will select three winners out of the top ten and the overall winner will receive a prize of € 5,000 ($5,665.15 USD), the runner-up receives € 2,000, third place wins € 1,000.
