UPDATE: Mentors and Judges Needed

Are you or someone you know interested in becoming a mentor or judge for CruzHacks 2022? CruzHacks is looking for mentors and judges for this upcoming hackathon! Come join us for our 10th anniversary!

We're so excited to be back and to share some wonderful news with you all!

First, CruzHacks 2022 will be happening January 14-16th, 2022. Due to unpredictable COVID trends and protocols with UC Santa Cruz, we have decided to keep CruzHacks virtual for one more year. That being said, we do have a special in-person swag distribution for those in the Santa Cruz area. That information will be sent out closer to when our event takes place.

Second, CruzHacks will be having a few pre-hackathon workshops starting late November. These will be introductory level workshops about topics such as HTML and Resume/Cover Letter writing geared towards our participants that have no-little prior technical experience. Details on those will come out soon! *Don't worry, we will still have various amounts of workshops during our hackathon*

Third, CruzCoins is back! For those of you who don't know, CruzCoins is CruzHacks point system where members who choose to participate will earn various amounts of points for each workshop they attend, social media games they complete, riddles they solve, and more! The more points you earn, the better chance you have of winning some awesome additional swag!! It's also a great way to fully maximize your CruzHacks experience. Sign up for CruzCoins here!
