Immergo Awarded Startup Sandbox Coworking Subsidy
Santa Cruz Works (“SCW”) is excited to announce the selection of our first accelerator recipient for a co-working subsidy. Immergo will receive a co-working subsidy to use at the bioscience incubator Startup Sandbox.
Immergo uses 3D virtual clinics to empower physical therapists to provide smarter physical rehab. Immergo will use the space to co-work on virtual reality software MVP development from user experience design, machine learning, and cloud engineering, (2) test and validate virtual reality applications with motion capture systems, (3) network and receive mentoring from other startups / the startup sandbox, and (4) perform customer discovery and research data collection.
"We are incredibly thankful to the Santa Cruz Accelerates Program for supporting us in co-working with the Startup Sandbox! This subsidy will help Immergo Labs push forward in it's development towards enabling more accessible, affordable, and accurate physical rehabilitation through immersive virtual reality telehealth. We feel exhilarated to be members of the Santa Cruz Works Community." - Aviv Elor, Co-Founder & Principal Investigator at Immergo LLC
Immergo is the first of many for startups in our Accelerator who will receive co-working subsidies at Startup Sandbox, Nextspace, and Cruzio co-working spaces. SCW will be awarding co-working subsidies to startups until February 22, 2022. Please contact accelerator program manager Malina if you are interested.
Startup Sandbox provides dry lab and wet lab space for bioscience entrepreneurs to launch their startup and productize their research. Startup Sandbox also provides business training and access to academic excellence. SCW subsidies at Sandbox include Cruz Foam (marine bio foam technology), SanguineDX (advanced blood clot monitoring for emergency rooms), Unnatural Products (drug discovery systems).
