Joby: Watch This Precision Landing!

In January 2024, the Joby team welcomed back the Federal Aviation Administration's Office of Airports to Marina, CA, as they carried out a flight test campaign focused on landing accuracy and precision.

Following on from the propeller wash testing they completed in August, three different Joby pilots conducted 31 take-offs and landings onboard the aircraft.

The flight test campaign demonstrated the aircraft's operational characteristics as part of the FAA's ongoing work to refine vertiport design guidance while also demonstrating their ability to use existing heliports.
