Santa Cruz County Bank Announces Promotion of Chris Van Zanen

The Bank is pleased to announce the promotion of Chris Van Zanen from Assistant Vice President, Relationship Manager to Vice President, Relationship Manager.

Chris joined the Bank in February 2014 and dedicated four years as a Credit Analyst playing a critical role underwriting loan applications and supporting the growth of the Bank. In 2018 Chris was promoted to Relationship Manager, handling portfolio management and developing new business. Chris was then promoted to Assistant Vice President and most recently played a crucial role in delivery of PPP loans to businesses in our community. 

Chris holds a B.A. Business Management of Economics from University of California, Santa Cruz, and studied Business Administration: Concentration in Economics & Marketing at San Francisco University. He is also a graduate of the Focus Agriculture program, providing community leaders with insight into local Santa Cruz County and Pajaro Valley agriculture. Chris volunteers as a Loan Committee Member with American Nonprofits.

Chris lives in Santa Cruz with his wife and two young children.
