Blue Innovation 2024
Blue Innovation is a bi-annual event that exists to connect researchers, organizations, and community members who are passionate about protecting our ocean and water sources. Live music and outdoor exhibits are open to the public and includes activities for people of all ages and backgrounds to learn about local organizations, products, and research efforts. Indoor workshops are hosted by researchers to dive deeper into the City of Santa Cruz efforts, alternative energy, and more. Learn more about our 2024 event here.
Santa Cruz Launchpad 2024
This free, exciting annual event combines a student business plan teams competition with cash prizes and a job fair open to the public. Featuring 20+ local companies offering 300+ jobs for new and seasoned professionals, and interns. The student business plan competition is another exciting aspect of the event that showcases the brilliant ideas college students have been developing in front of a panel of judges and live audience. Remarkable AI
During this spectacular event, we ignited the stage with visionary thinkers like Guy Kawasaki, Claire Delaunay, Jim Whitehead and more. These tech luminaries came together to discuss AI’s impact on humanity and also featured an hour of networking time. 7th Annual Titans of Tech
Our annual Titans event celebrates people who have been nominated by the community and selected by the board for their incredible impact on the Santa Cruz Community. During this event, you’ll learn about why these people were nominated and get to hear incredible inspiring and impactful stories. Santa Cruz Accelerates Demo Day
Demo Day features an exciting showcase of innovative startups who have been working hard to build their businesses and network, develop their products, and work on their pitches in our Accelerator Program. Startups go head-to-head to compete for cash prizes, additional funding, and votes from a panel of judges AND the audience. This is a fun event to attend to learn about and connect with budding local startup founders and VCs.
