This will help us to be able to connect locally with the organizations that are looking to run efficient operations with real time data analysis, and provide to the employee an increase in efficiency, trust among them and an economic impact" - Francisco Rojas, Co-founder ecPunch

“The Climatize team and I are deeply grateful to the Santa Cruz Accelerates Program for supporting our team and mission with this opportunity. We are excited to emerge from a digital workplace and to reconnect at Nextspace. There is nothing more exciting than brainstorming sessions around a whiteboard & rapidly iterating on our product in ways that just weren’t possible over the past year and a half. Thank you Santa Cruz Works for backing Climatize and the next generation of entrepreneurs.” - Will Wiseman, Co-founder and CEO at Climatize Earth Inc.
Belay eliminates income instability for rideshare workers using a proprietary financial instrument. Drivers input a schedule they want to earn a guaranteed wage within. If they earn less than our guarantee, Belay tops them up. If they earn more by the end of their contract, we charge them - AT MOST - 4% of the original forecast. We plan soon to add deactivation protection and mugging insurance.
“Doing well by doing good means thin margins. We at Belay feel immense gratitude that Santa Cruz Works has trimmed our overhead with the Nextspace subsidy. That means more runway and the ability to spend those months in a warm and professional space here in my hometown of Santa Cruz.” - Kai Golden, Co-founder and Ceo of Belay
